Connect an AI assistant to Malls.info

Malls.info has a built-in assistant app. Once connected, your AI assistant can search malls and outlets, look up store directories, hours and current deals, and find which malls carry a brand — all from your chat.

Your connection address

Every connection method below uses this address. Copy it once and paste it where your assistant asks for a server or connector URL.

Connect

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's connector settings and turn on Developer mode (read the risk notice shown there). If Developer mode is unavailable, ask your ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. Open the new connector dialog.
  3. Enter Malls.info as the name and paste the connection address above as the URL.
  4. Review the details, tick "I understand and want to continue" (ChatGPT shows this for every custom connector, not just this one), then click Create.
  5. Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

Claude

  1. Open Claude's custom connector dialog — the name and address are already filled in.
  2. Review the details and click Add.
  3. If the prefilled form doesn't open, open Claude's Connectors page, choose "Add custom connector", name it Malls.info and paste the connection address above.
  4. Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

Claude Code connects with one terminal command — no settings to click through.

  1. Run this in a terminal:
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http malls-info 'https://malls.info/mcp'
  1. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Malls.info is connected.
  2. Ask Claude Code to use it.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open your assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name it Malls.info and paste the connection address above.
  4. Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts.
  5. Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use it.

Refresh after Malls.info changes

A connected assistant remembers the features it first saw. When Malls.info ships improvements, refresh the connection so your assistant picks up the latest version.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select Malls.info.
  2. Scroll down to "Information" and click Refresh.
  3. ChatGPT can't update an existing app's address — if it changed, delete the app from Plugins and repeat the connect steps above with the latest address.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use it.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select the Malls.info connector.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. Claude can't update an existing connector's address — if it changed, remove the connector and repeat the connect steps above with the latest address.
  4. Ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the latest version of Malls.info when it connects.
  2. If the address changed, run claude mcp remove malls-info, then run the install command above again with the latest address.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use it.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open your assistant's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the Malls.info connection you created.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. If the address changed, paste the latest address from above.
  5. Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use it.

Site owner editing

A separate connection lets the site owner's assistant update mall hours and publish or remove deals. It asks you to sign in, and only the owner account can make changes. Updates go live right away, labelled as site-owner updates.
